Redbridge Centennial Lions Club was formed in the Lions Centennial year on the 7th of January 2017 by 9 like-minded existing Lions and 20 new members. It was presented with its Centennial Charter on the 25th of March 2017.

What We Do

We raise money for local charities and worthy causes and meeting needs of local communities and the world.

In Lions Clubs 100% of what we raise goes to support other charities and organisations, there are no ongoing or administrative costs as we all freely give our time and effort, and tend to absorb small costs individually.

We undertake work relating to Lions while socialising and having fun by organising Fund Raising events such as musical Evenings, Dinner Dances, Outdoor picnics, BBQs, fun runs, raffles etc.

Lions Clubs are known for getting things done for their communities, so just think how much more effective we could be with your contribution and input.

We are part of the World's Largest Service Club Organisation

Our 46,000 clubs and 1.4 million members make us the world's largest service club organisation. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends no matter if it is around the corner or across the globe. With children who need eye glasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.

Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed – with unmatched integrity and energy.

At Redbridge Centennial Lions Club we raise money for local and International Charities and worthy causes. Since our foundation in Jan 2017, we have, to date, raised an amount in excess of £3000.00. If you would like to support an event, but are unable to attend, you can make a Donation (see below). You can also help us in our work, by supporting our local events, which enable us to help those less well off than ourselves.

Our Business Meetings are held on the 3nd Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm, If you would like to attend a meeting, please get in touch with our secretary Lion Narinder S Mann. See details below.

If you have a little time to spare to help out as a volunteer, please contact us, we would be delighted to hear from you. You can be one of our “ad-hoc” little helpers, affectionately known as a “Friend of Lions”.

We are currently looking for Sponsors for our Fundraising events for Raffles and Prize Draws, so if you are able to donate any sort of unwanted gift or are a local business and wish to donate a prize please let us know. Every penny counts.
